Amazing: World’s largest tidal bore soaring in Chinese river

The tidal bore on Monday kept soaring in the Qiantang River in east China’s Zhejiang Province, providing a spectacular view for residents and tourists.

The tidal waves crashed into the dam, formed high waves and then headed backward, presenting a magnificent view of back-flow tide.

Approaching super typhoon Dujuan will be felt in the tidal bore of the Qiantang River, known as the world’s largest tidal bore.
