Flash floods hit northern Italy

Flash floods hit northern Italy. Streets have been turned into rivers in the Liguria and Tuscany regions of Italy after torrential rain caused rivers to break their banks.

At least one person died during flooding in Genoa, Friday, after heavy waters swept through the northern Italian city, causing severe damage to public and private property.

Four people have been killed by flash flooding in Italy. The victims died when they were swept away by mud and debris after 24 of to.

Nine people have died and at least six remain missing after 500mm of rain in one night caused flash flooding in parts of northern Italy.
